Pasture & Pine offers a serene and inspiring environment where artists of all levels can create, connect, and grow. Located on a historic farm in Cornish, NH, we provide a variety of experiences designed to nurture artistic expression. From self-guided studio sessions to immersive exploratory sessions and classes, each opportunity is crafted to encourage individual creativity while fostering collaboration in a supportive community.
Our Offerings

Pasture & Pine offers a variety of art classes throughout the year, led by talented local artists. Explore creative techniques in applying watercolor, oil pastel, charcoal, graphite, acrylic, and more.
Classes are held in our creative space, located upstairs in our timber frame barn. Some classes will be held outdoors in our surrounding fields. Please be sure to check the location when registering.
A supply list will be provided upon registration. Please make sure to have your supplies ready for class.

Make Time. Create Art.
Whether you're a beginner or an experienced artist, all are welcome to join us for our open studio sessions. This is a fantastic opportunity to practice at your own pace, exchange ideas, and collaborate with fellow artists in a supportive environment.
Open studios are held in our creative space, located upstairs in our timber frame barn. Some sessions will be held outdoors in our surrounding fields. Please be sure to check the location when registering.
Bring your own supplies. Reference materials/items will be available for inspiration.

Exploratory Sessions encourage you to step out of your comfort zone and engage your senses. By connecting with what you see, smell, and taste, you’ll elevate your art and push your creative boundaries. Live, immersive experiences provide opportunities to explore beyond the limitations of books, photos, or online resources, allowing you to experience the world with fresh eyes and inspire new ideas in your artistic journey.
The art portion of these sessions is self-led. Beginners are welcome, though a basic understanding of sketching will be beneficial.
Drawing Kits are available for purchase online. All Exploratory Sessions will utilize the materials provided in the suggested drawing kits. Experimental items will be supplied.
Exploratory sessions are held in various areas around the farm. Due to the nature of some of these immersive exploratory sessions—not all are easily accessible. Please be sure to check the location when registering.

FAQs
-
We are located at 28 Fitch Drive, Cornish, NH 03745. There are a few ways to get to our farm. Here are the recommended routes.
Route 12A: Take 12A to Town House and up Dingleton Hill Road. We are located at the top of Dingleton Hill Road at 28 Fitch Dr.
Route 120: Take Route 120 to Town House Road, following it down to Dingleton Hill Road. We are located at the top of Dingleton Hill at 28 Fitch Dr.
These routes are all pavement and the easiest during the winter months and mud season.

Outdoor sessions will be held at various locations. For these events, parking will be announced before the class.
Please come prepared for being in the elements. (drinking water, hat, sweater, proper shoes for walking on uneven ground, sunscreen, bug spray, etc.) Tables and chairs will be provided.

Parking is available in front of our timber frame barn, located at the bottom of 28 Fitch Dr.
Classes & Sessions held in our creative space are upstairs in our timber frame barn (the barn on the right). To access the stairs to the creative space, walk along the outside of the building. The stairs are located outside, on the back of the building.
Please note: there are about 16 steps up to the creative space. At this time we do not have a lift available. We apologize for any inconvenience. We are looking into options for a lift to create accessibility for all abilities.
We heat our timber frame barn with a pellet stove to keep us warm. However, the building space itself is not insulted, so feel free to bring a sweatshirt/sweater and indoor shoes to keep your feet warmer. I will have tea available as well.

Our beautiful timber frame outhouse is located at the base of the barn stairs. It is cold during winter months, but it is clean and available for use if needed.

Paying online through our website is preferred, however cash or check made payable to Fitch Family Farm LLC will also be accepted.
Payment for class is due before or upon arrival.

During cold weather months, In the event of inclement weather or extreme cold, classes will be postponed. I will reach out in advance if class is canceled.
During warm weather months, any class that is scheduled for outside that cannot be held outdoors due to extreme temperature, wind or weather will be moved into our creative space, upstairs in our timber frame barn.

All class registrations are final and non-refundable. If you are unable to attend, we will offer a credit toward a future class.
In the rare case that a class is canceled due to the instructor’s illness, it will be rescheduled. If you cannot attend the new date, a credit will be issued for a future class.
